Our Name
Verenti has its origins in the French and Latin word “verite” literally meaning 'Truth'. The concept of truth and being true to oneself in one’s riding is the very essence of what makes a Verenti bike standout from the competition. True in the sense of quality, true in the sense of being fit for purpose and true in the sense of being capable to meet, and exceed, your riding expectations.
Be true to yourself and of course…your Verenti.
The Ethos of Verenti
Cyclists are passionate about their sport and equally as passionate about the bikes they ride. In few sports do participants take such pride, interest and involvement in their equipment, but to a cyclist a bike is more than just the right tool for the job, it is an extension of them and reflects their individual personality. Those of us who have worked to create Verenti understand this. We too are cyclists as well as bike designers.
All of the bikes that carry the Verenti name will have three factors in common:
Firstly, they will be designed from the ground up for optimum performance in their respective discipline whether that be Sportive riding, road racing, time trial or Cyclocross.
Secondly, they will be characterised by the distinctive attention to detail that cyclists love. The components, drive train, colour schemes and finish are all crucial to the overall package, not an afterthought.
Finally, all of the bikes meet and exceed the demands of the enthusiast cyclist at a price that can only be delivered through direct design and sourcing from the best manufacturers in the world.
The truth is for those that choose Verenti bikes we believe there should be no compromises.
Our Back Ground - The Company
With over 25 years of experience in the bicycle industry the Verenti design team prides itself on our attention to detail, achieving incredibly high standards, and a dedication and commitment to designing and delivering some of the best bikes on the market today. We have spent countless hours researching, developing, designing and testing each and every model right down to the very tiniest of details. Our love of cycling permeates everything we do and we want to ensure the Verenti bike you ride exceeds your expectations time and again.
Being a relatively young UK based company we are proud of our roots and the domestic riding scene and you will see this provide a heavy influence in our designs and our approach to our products.
The materials we use
Carbon Fibre:
All Verenti bikes are made using only the best materials available and the carbon fibre we use is no exception. All the carbon we use is produced by Toray Industries Inc. which is the worlds largest producer and recognized leader in the manufacture, research and development of carbon fibres.
Whilst originating primarily as an aerospace material, Torayca carbon fibre has found its home in a wide variety of industry applications, none more so than in cycle design.
It’s the rigorous product testing and resulting consistent quality that make Toray carbon fibres the perfect choice for the production of Verenti bikes.
We use Toray and their expertise in deciding the various grades/strengths of carbon depending on the frame component, taking in to account the balance of strength, weight and comfort, to produce a the perfect ride characteristics.
Alloy Tubing:
We use a variety of Alloys on the production of the Verenti frames, these have been painstakingly researched by our Tubing manufacturer and by us in actual product testing, all to make sure that they are the correct material for the job, and give you everything you would expect from a high performance sportive racing bike.
Alloy Components:
You will often see four digit numbers and codes written on certain handlebars, stems and other alloy components. These four numbers usually refer to the strength to weight ratio of the specifically alloy composition. The “T” designations after these codes refer to the type of “tempering” which is heated process to toughen the material.
The normally ascending numbers usually mean the material has a better strength to weight ratio.

Frame and Component Testing
All Verenti frames and products have undergone rigorous testing to make sure they comply to the latest Europeon (EN 14781) and International standards. Testing of our products is carried out by SGS testing who are the world leaders in CTS (Consumer Testing Services) giving you the reassurance that we have made every effort to make sure not only do the bikes ride perfectly and look fantastic, they are also proven to be safe.
